The Advanced Resource Planning
Module provides an excellent
tool to optimize the utilization
and planning of the personnel
resources. It will give an
overview of all work orders with
the associated personnel
resources and the time
consumption. A detailed calendar
function that eases the planning
of available resources is
included. The month and day
surveys give a clear overview of
the resources present at any
time of the day. Color codes
makes it easy to what should be
done and when.
The work suppliers can be
categorized under different
skill levels. The month survey
is linked to each work supplier
and contains all information for
the actual resource level. By
double clicking on a cell there
will be direct access to the
underlying information. The work
category can be stated directly
on the work order to make the
planning of work suppliers
easier. Then only work suppliers
for the actually category will
be shown when adding new work
suppliers.

Exceptions in the available
capacity, eg. absence or
overtime is stated per work
supplier. When planning on
department level the
calculation of available
hours takes exceptions for
the stated work suppliers
into consideration. In order
to find a work resource for
a specific work order, a
personnel browser is
included. The default
sorting is based on
availability on the
specified day. The first
work supplier will be the
one with the largest amount
of hours available.
It is possible automatically
to schedule the available
resources over a period of
time. At all times it will
be possible to get a work
load overview with the total
working hours, planned work
load, available hours and
used hours.
